I had previously heard great things about Muchamore’s writing and so was keen to delve into this extract. I wasn’t disappointed! This book has drawn me in from the first page with its beautifully descriptive prose, talk of taboo topics, and contrasting characters.
I think this novel could be very impactful and I am really intrigued to see how the taboo topics of mental health and Nigerian politics are brought into the story. I also cannot wait to find out what brings the two characters together!
I believe Arctic Zoo has huge potential to become a pivotal piece of literature for the modern age and am really excited to read more.
