I don’t think I would have chosen this book by the cover or blurb even the first impression didn’t grab me that much but I would have missed out. I loved this book, warmed to both characters, Georgia who’s life changes from being a straight A perfect daughter to being caught up in political issues after the suicide of her sister. And julius living in a corrupt country where is sexual preferences could be life threatening. It’s well written and fast paced but the story is not rushed and the ending of the story leaves nothing missed. I’m not sure whether this is aimed at the young adult audience as those are the age of the characters if it is it’s a little dark. Definitely would recommend this book.
