I love how this book is two stories of two very different peoples lives in two different countries. At first your not sure why you have two different story lines but it is all revealed! It is a very cleverly written book which I really enjoyed. I found it an easy book to read that I just didn’t want to put down.
I had a clear view of what each character was like and got emerged in the two different lives of Julius and Georgia’s lives.
The book touches on mental health which is brave but is done well. There are a lot of current issues in their - being gay in a very homophobic family and how hard it is. It has Young love and heart break, violence and also happiness. The book also touches on the effect of suicide and how it changes those lives who are left behind.
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more of his books.
