Arctic Zoo follows the lives of two very different teenagers, Julius and Georgia, as their lives take a turn for the worst and they are thrown into situations they could never have imagined dealing with.

The book was generally split chapter to chapter, starting with Georgia's perspective on meeting Julius and then returning to the events that led up to that moment and what happened after. This style worked perfectly, each chapter finishing at just the right point to make you want to continue reading but never so that you wanted to skip to the next perspective.

Despite the plot lines, which I won't spoil, not being everyday occurrences, the characters themselves were relatable and well written. You could feel their joy, sadness and a whole host of other emotions through the writing.

I would have liked some more to the prologue but it didn't stop my enjoyment of the book as a whole.
