I didn’t enjoy this book. In full transparency I only read half of the book, but I felt that I couldn’t continue with it. I didn’t feel connected at all with the characters or the plot. To me it almost felt stilted and it didn’t feel cohesive. I Perhaps it improves in the second half and my review is unjustified, however I couldn’t carry on with it. Some aspects that I enjoyed included:
The writing: Robert Muchamore didn’t fail to present his characters and the setting in wonderful prose
The concept: I really liked the concept of the book drone racing is such a unique aspect
Overall, I do see myself going back to this book to give it another try, maybe Arctic Zoo has yet got something to give that I haven’t discovered yet.
