This book was unexpectedly fast-paced and quite entertaining. One of the aspects of the book I enjoyed was how the novel flashes backwards and forwards from present day to previous times in the lives of the characters. The alternating points of view of the characters was also executed well and added to the book being a good read. However, I did feel as though the story became somewhat rushed near the end, as though the author had too much to write with not enough space to write it in. In addition to this, although it was an enjoyable read I can't say I would read a second book if this were to be made into a series.
Overall though, I'd recommend this book to a friend. In fact, I already passed the book on to one!
