Thank you for allowing me to read this book. I read this around three years ago although I received it 4 years ago. I forgot to load my review here.

I put off reading this book for well over a year because I didn’t like the sound of it from the blurb. I liked the sound of the initial chapters in the preview but I just couldn’t ever get my teeth stuck into the novel.

However, when I finally forced myself to sit and read it, I actually really got into it thought it was brilliant. Some parts were a bit slow but for the most part it was a quick paced story, whilst some was far fetched (Georgia’s story seemed more far fetched than julius’) it was brilliantly written. The details about Nigeria, which is a place I’ve never visited, made me imagine just what it’s like to live there.

Another part I liked about this was that for the majority of the population ok, the two stories are separate and don’t meet.
