Firstly I should acknowledge that my review is seemingly out of step with others and you should take that balance into your consideration if you are considering reading this book.
Secondly the author of this book clearly has immense talent for storytelling.
Sadly however I personally struggled to engage with this story and this made parts of the book a tough read for me. Given that others have reported reading this in one sitting I am prepared to accept that the problem may well be mine rather than the book's.
Georgia and Julius live in extraordinary worlds, replete with drone racing and unfinished, unusual zoos and (prologue aside) both start in reasonably happy circumstances. As you may expect this status quo is soon upset for both and the universe turns in ways that conspire to get our protagonists together.
Not for me but it may be for you...
