Although it took a bit of the book for me to really get into it, I liked it a lot. Both protagonists have strong characters, the author takes time to develop and build them. And even if it is a bit slow in the beginning, it all comes together in the end.
There's strong political themes throughout the novel. It definitely makes you think about how much corruption there is and how much the general population do not know and do not even think about. Which is a plus for the author.
Having that, the book is still an easy read. The writing style perfectly suits the story. After a 100 pages you already empathise with the protagonists and root for their success even though it seems absolutely unlikely at some points.
