It starts off with the main character Will Macready, who on his first day on the job works on a murdered police officer.throughout the case the author does make the thrill that this case would not be an easy one. However throughout the book I wanted to connect to the characters a bit more, other than Will and would of loved the characters to be developed a bit more in terms of personality to be more likeable. As I did love how the author set the scene throughout the book and the way he kept the case.
The book did however use a constant amount of police acronym that I felt were never ending and on every page. If the author limited the amount of acronyms in the book this could of definitely changed my opinion of the book as well as developing the characters.
Overall, as this was my first read into the crime world it was an okay start to begin with. But it’s not a book I would read again
