I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but I was immediately drawn to both Khalid & Ayesha. They are described in such a way that they jump off the page. The narrative has a lovely natural flow. The description of Ayesha's first day was full of detail that makes me think the writer had experience it herself!
Add in Clara and the other characters and I cannot wait to see/read what happens!
