I found this extract very unique and fascinating as it is the first time I read a book with light tones and romance that involve Muslim people. As a person who enjoys a good light hearted novel, I couldn’t wait to read each chapter and see how each character developed. From the conservative Khalid to the shy and Ayesha trying to follow her dreams of writing poetry as a young Muslim woman. With somewhat hilarious and yet dark humour moments this books is everything that has been missing from the romance market in my opinion.
