I really enjoyed reading this book. It follows the story of Ayesha and Khalid who are both Muslim but interpret their religion very differently and lead very different lives. They get to know each other when they are both asked to help with planning a conference at their local mosque. Their story is supported by a cast of family members and friends, including Ayesha's good friend Clara. I found this book easy to read but also thought provoking, which was great! It really made me think about the different approaches to marriage that people can take. I also found it interesting learning more about another culture and liked how issues of prejudice were explored from different angles and perspectives. Overall, a good read!
