Amazing read
The synopsis of this book “muslim version of pride and prejudice” immediately pulled me in. This is a modern love story told between the two characters Ayesha and Khalid. Both of the characters are opposites and the character development to see them grow together was amazing.
I loved the storyline of this but also loved how it incorporated a meaning behind it. I was able to relate to this book and that is what makes it special. Topics like arranged marriage, and religion are not always touched upon in such a thoughtful way so this was nice to see. It educates you in a more ‘fun’ approach.
i liked the writing style of this book also, it flowed well and always adapted to the characters. The only downside i can think of is that sometimes i did think the writing was too simplistic whilst the plot was actually a little more complex however this isnt major.
Overall, i would recommend this book.
