The two things I liked best about this book was a) the view that it gave into a culture that I know little about and b) that it was a take on Pride and Prejudice within that culture, proving that Jane Austen is relevant even today. It was great, showing the struggles that Muslims face while also making them something relateable and understandable, something that is imperative to today's society. I really enjoyed the book, loving both Ayesha and Khalid and shipping them all the way. It was great and I highly recommend it, both for the educational aspect and the simple love of a love story. The cover was beautiful and the book is relatively short so a pretty quick read if that is something you worry about.
