I enjoyed this more than I expected to, in fact I read it in one sitting.
I enjoyed the easy to read romance but unfortunately I didn't really connect with any of the characters. I did really dislike Khalid at first but grew to not really care either way.
I enjoyed seeing an insight into Muslim life and culture, found my self getting annoyed by the arranged marriages. The list of characters and who was who got muddled and I found it hard to keep up with all the aunties.
Saying it all that it was an overall easy read which I dont feel I wasted my time reading.
It's nice to see a much more modern take on pride and prejudice and I hope to see more books like this in the future. We need more representation.
