Ayesha at Last is amazing to think is Uzma Jalauddins first book especially with the fact with the story being based loosely around herself.

With being her first book I was a bit sceptical with the using herself as a base for he first book with characters scenes areas needing to be closer to areas and people of relevance and known to themselves.

I loved the fact the storyline was so believable and unfolded and flowed so well it made for a well thought out book looking at a girl named Ayesha who is from a Muslim religion and her challenges to become a teacher.

I loved the fact that the religious aspects of Ayesha were explored further with the fact of her worry to find a husband and not wanting to be forced into an arranged marriage. The author though also explores the side of a family member who is excited at the prospect of arranged marriage also so looking at the positives and negatives.

This book wont be for all people especially if they don't enjoy religious books but if you enjoy religion combined with love then you will enjoy.
