This book is a fabulous modern twist on the classic novel pride and prejudice by the infamous Jane Austen. It follows two Muslim families set in modern day Canada and although the plot sticks to the basis of the original it offers a very funny take on a modern romance in a Muslim community. Pushy mothers, runaway teens and of course an underlying romance. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes a romance. It’s well written and very well thought out. The author clearly has a great talent for writing and was able to show the Muslim culture in an entertaining and thoughtful way. Love how the cover mimics that of the Austen original. A 5 star read and one I will be passing on to many friends.
