I am so very grateful I stumbled across this book, it follows a strong, independent, Muslim, teacher.
A lot of those descriptors relate to me, I like to think I am strong, independent and love to learn.
Even further in, the plot provides the strong character with a lot of struggles and problems. I enjoy reading these plots and stories because they leave me rooting for the character. It also allows me to escape into another world, while also being able to provide some sympathy to them as I can relate to problems the world faces.
The story is an important read, as it contributes to diversifying media and books. I strongly believe that these types of stories need more attention as it can allow people to become more educated on further issues.
