When I saw the cover of this book I wasn’t sure what to expect from it, not really any clues but I absolutely loved this book and didn’t want it to finish.
The main characters are Ayesha and Khalid. Ayesha lives with her parents, brother and grandparents, her father had died and because of consequences they moved to Canada.
Khalid is a very traditional Muslim in his dress and ideas. He lives with his mother and had also lost his father, his sister had been sent away 12 years earlier and his mother allowed no contact but unbeknownst to her they keep in touch and he sends her money.
Khalid believes his mum will find him the perfect bride and arranged marriage while Ayesha wonders if marriage is for her.
When they both meet at the mosque during a meeting, how will they both get along together?
