Really enjoyed the story.

I felt it was like a modern day, Muslim themed Shakespearean love story.

Poor Ayesha and Khalid have had their fair share of difficulties both within their careers and within their families.

I hated Khalid's over bearing boss and his conniving mother. I despised Ayesha' s obnoxious spoilt brat of a cousin.

Both main characters had their individual flaws, but together they complemented eachother well.

The will they won't they idea went on a little too long and the strange twist of events was a bit odd, but totally unpredictable and kept me asking questions right up until the last page of the book.

A great, easy to get into book that opens your eyes to the daily lives of British (Canadian) Muslim families.
