Ayesha at last is a modern-day Muslim Pride and Prejudice, an easy to read book that you don’t want to put down. Great characters and a story line that will have you invested from start to finish.
As a Muslim living in the west this book make me grin throughout because of the representation and how well it worked!
Some of the important themes explored in the book, islamophobia, workplace discrimination, revenge, romance, family obligations, deceit, and arranged marriage.
I've read quite a few books authored by a Muslim n the perspective of a Muslim character and I have to say this is the best one yet. I look forward to what Uzma Jalaluddin brings next.
