“Ayesha At Last” surpassed all my expectations of what I thought would be contained in the pages of this book. I went into this book knowing little about Muslim culture and I felt that I took away a lot more insight into that culture without it being overwhelming as a reader. I loved that the story was told from the title character Ayesha but as well from a second perspective of Khalid. This book had a brilliant insight showing how we should not judge every member of a culture or religion as the same. People can not be judge by black or white but as various and beautiful shades of grey. The only issue I had with this book which stopped it getting 5 stars was the pacing at times was a little too slow for my taste. If you don’t mind pacing within books then this book will be perfect for you but even if you do please read this book.
