This book is amazing for soo many reasons! The first thing that intrigued me was the beautifully illustrated book cover - it immediately catches my eyes and made me read the blurb.
I also love how this book has a Muslim woman as the main character as you don't usually see this sort of diversity in books. The character of Ayesha Shamsi immediately warmed to me as she's a very relatable character that I think a lot of people can warm to. I think a lot of young Muslim girls can relate to interfering aunties, arranged marriages and and boisterous families.
The plot of this book also really made me giggle. The plot of the novel is definitely very hectic and funny so I really can't wait to read it. I'd class this book as a coming-of-age, disaster, romance novel which is definitely my type of read! The author is definitely very very talented in her work.
