Quite a bit going on and some fairly deep topics for a YA novel.

The premise sounded intriguing and piqued my interest and, as I read the opening extract I started to get the distinct impression that this book will cover some pretty deep topics for a YA novel. It also feels extremely ambitious and from the short, punchy chapters and the fact that the cast of characters seems fabulously diverse I am definitely keen to read.
