This sounds like it is a good story and the opening chapters show that it is.
The main character Luca and her sister Whitney are both very likeable characters. I love how realistic their relationship as teenage sisters is portrayed by the author.
The fact that there have been numerous deaths of teenage girls over the years, on the Island Luca lives seems to be the main focus of the story.
