I believe this book had huge potential however failed to meet the points needed to satisfy an avid reader. The plot line had several holes including the unrealistic actions of the main protagonist, luca. The murder mystery genre is so saturated that a book requires something special to credited to being a good book.
It was very difficult to get into this book due to the undeveloped characters and pushed romantic plot lines. I also struggled to like many of that characters which is an important part of enjoying a book.
This book has a great cover and from the outside looks to be a great story however just missed many of the major areas for a book. The characters were however well diverse representing those with mental health issue as well as the LGBTQ+ community. If your a first time reader i would still recommend this book however if you are an avid reader id recommend giving this a pass.
