I enjoyed reading this book, it was very intriguing. The book is fast-paced, mysterious and full of twists and turns. I was always left guessing to the end. The characters were all very interesting, complex and unique. The front cover is also eye-catching!
The story follows Luca who lives in Parris, an idyllic island. Luca believes that the island is cursed, due to the mysterious deaths of several women. Nobody wants to find out why, society seems to be ignoring these deaths.
Recently Luca's best friend Polly went missing and then she comes home to discover that her sister Whitney is dead. Luca decides to take the investigation into her sister's death into her own hands as she feels like nothing is being done. What secrets will she reveal, how did these women die?
