I loved this one, it was such an easy read with lots of suspense, drama and tension from the start. I loved Luca’s character and her complicated relationships with the people of Parris and the curse she believes is occurring.
I was absolutely absorbed in the plot and the storyline and following the deaths of various characters and did not even remotely guess the twist at the end and what was actually happening!
I read this in one sitting which tells you all you need to know about the pace and what I thought of the book as a whole. The only reason this book was a four star read and not a five star read was because of the slight cliffhanger at the end, I am such a nosey person I need to know everything that happens and have to have everything tied up in a neat little bow to be able to move on with my life and not knowing what happened to Polly or Luca at the end drives me mad! But I loved it!
