Whilst this book seems to be marketed as YA I think that it's actually a great book for adults too. The book centres around the theme 'Bad Things Happen Here', with main character Luca believing the stories about the island curse that seems to leave lots of women dead over the years. When the 'curse' hits even closer to home Luca decides to investigate herself what she believes the police are ignoring.

I thought this was a really well thought out book with lots of twists and turns. I couldn't see the end (or any of the twists) coming and was kept on my toes throughout. I really liked the writing style and thought it was an easy read which was hard to put down. The story flowed really well and I felt that by the end I understood what had happened which can sometimes be difficult in a thriller, but this was explained well.

Overall I thought this was a great thriller both for all adults (young and otherwise).
