This is the first novel I've read by Rebecca Barrow, and it won't be the last. I really liked her writing style, and it was a fast-paced book with short chapters that made it even easier to read for me. This book's themes of treachery were so brilliantly done that I was on the edge of my seat. All I can say about the cliffhanger is WOW. I'm hoping this becomes a duology or a series so we can figure out what happens because the conclusion has me so confused. This narrative takes place on what appears to be a beautiful tropical island. The primary protagonists are generally young people who appear to have the perfect existence. The majority of them are from wealthy families that reside in gorgeous large mansions in this idyllic area. They live a beautiful life, with friends, parties, swimming pools, nice places to hang out, and plenty of money.
On the island, however, not everything is as it appears since there is an undertone of terror.
