Luca Laine Thomas best friend Polly who lived next door to her, has mysteriously drowned. For three years Luca takes flowers to their secret place and talks to Polly.
But at first Luca’s was scared to return to the place where Polly died as this was the place where the curse had surfaced. If I thought a curse was somewhere I would be too frightened to go there. This curse nobody else believe it when the pupils got to 6th grade, but Lucas believes in the curse. When a family’s home caught on fire with no explanation the young girl burned to death but her family got out alive.
It was all too much for Polly’s parents they left the island soon after their daughters died. Naomi is the new girl that had moved into Polly’s house.
This story was getting creepier by the turn of the pages. It looks like the curse has happened again, Whitney, Luca’s sister has gone missing.
This book is quite entertaining for YA readers, specifically if you like reading about a curse, and being spooked out you need to read this book.
