I loved the short chapters. My favorite thing about this book is the mystery of each character. You don’t know your friends like you thought u did. The secrets and lies making the main character learn about the dark reality of the messed up place they all live in. I really loved the fact that the main character (Luca) is a mixed girl and the queer representation included. Mental health mentioned and is apart of the main characters being. The friendships at the beginning seemed like they were okay but then going into it all just to find out it’s not what it seems like it is. Plot twists after plot twist. My favorite thing are plot twists. Especially when u never see it coming. They amount of things that popped up and shocked me was crazy. While reading them making me think I know what’s gonna happen but end up with another plot twist changing my thoughts. I never know what was going to happen next and this book kept me on my toes. The ending was not something I would have thought Of but made sense in a way that helped me come to an end with it too.
