I gave this book to my friend's little girl who is 7 and into all things girly, on the proviso I could grill her about the book after for a review. She loves ballet, dance, unicorns, pink, cute animals and playing with her friends, you get the idea.
She read of the book alone and said she liked the characters because they reminded her of her and her friends and she liked the fact that there were some tricky words for a 7yo, but that she could read nearly all of it by herself without help from her mum.
Her mum, who had read parts to her as a bedtime story, said that the book had a good story line and was useful in exploring friendships issues and the kind of dramas that children would come across in primary schools in a fun way. She said the characters were a bit annoying but overall was an enjoyable read for both her and her daughter! Thank you for the book!
