Yara is someone whose family is constantly on the move due to the nature of her father's job as an eco-engineer who works in factories all over the world. Her parents are keen for her to prioritise school and keep her grades up, but for Yara the best thing about settling in one place is joining Shimmer & Shine, a community ballet school where she meets lots of other children her age who are there to either start their training or do it just for fun.
