What a brilliant introduction to ballet for children following the story of yara and her friends at shimmer and shine trying to stop the dance studio from closing but can they save the day by putting on a showstoppers performance of the sleeping beauty I love the way this book includes a multi cultural element which some authors tend to forget this story is well written and a lot of thought has gone into the story I particularly liked the dance instructions at the back of this book so the readers can practise their moves there is also a glossary of ballet terms which I found quite interesting also at the back of the book is the story of the sleeping beauty which turns out to be a short read I also particularly like the illustrations inside the bookand on the front cover which are bright and eye-catching this book is a must for any child's bookshelf
