Although I'm clearly not the target audience for this it is still easy for me to sum this up as an exciting, absorbing story for those readers it's aimed at. A busy, exciting cover draws you in and it's clear it's full of adventure.

The three characters are described well; are strong and brave. I'm sure children will enjoy reading about their quests and adventures. An island setting is always an exciting, escapist set for an adventure book and this is reflected here too.
