Our main protagonist, Kayla, had her beloved rare winged pangron stolen, and she sets out, determined to get him back. However, in order to do so, she'll have to leave her city and journey into the wild and forbidden Beastlands
The other main characters were equally as important to the story - Alethea is calm and Rustus introduces a sense of balance to the friendship dynamic.
Young readers will absolutely adore this - there is wonderful imagery and exciting creatures woven throughout this wonderful tale. This will bring their imaginations alive! The illustrated map really adds to the story as well..
