I really enjoyed this book more than I thought as I initially thought it was for a younger audience but I was wrong.
I absolutely love the world building and the author did a really great
Job at giving detailed descriptions on each realm and the beautiful landscape. It really gave me a beautiful image in my head reading such beautiful detail.
The three main characters were also very intriguing and I loved going on the adventure with them and experiencing the character development in them.
Rustus really grew in confidence and I especially loved that he found passion in other things other than pleasing other people and living up to his gathers expectations and I think he may have been my favourite .
I have to admit Kayla took a while to grow on me but I understand now why she was the way she was, she just wanted her best friend back, the fact that she also gained friends made my heart warm.
And let’s not forget alethea. She is such a strong minded character who I admired. I am excited to see where the next book leads us and can’t wait for them to be reunited.
