I'm not sure how I feel about this one form the first look alone. It sounds like it could be an interesting story, but there didn't seem to be an immediate reason as to why Naomi is blind, in terms of this fulfilling a meaningful role in the story. She didn't realise she had 'witnessed' the murderer until it was mentioned later on the news, so I fail to see how she could be any threat at all. However, perhaps that will be revealed later in the book... I felt that the book was strangely description considering the narrator is blind, I was expecting it to be written much more from her perspective, so am not as immediately impressed with this book as I would have liked.
