Can we just talk about that introduction?! The description of the body, the bones, the blood... I felt like I could taste the blood and hear the bones creak. I could feel the weight of the body and the squishiness of the skin. It's not very often I can read an opening to a book and immediately delve straight in and literally feel the surroundings! Props to the author for such a descriptive opening! I'm captured. Look forward to reading the whole book!
