As a huge fan of mysteries and thrillers, I've read my fair share and this is the first time I have come across a blind protagonist! It gives the book an extra level, both in representation - I have only read one other book with a blind MC - and in deepening the mystery by having the only witness unable to identify the perpetrator. I'm also really intrigued by the notion of a suicidal protagonist in a thriller.
