Naomi Hannah is blind, she's also plagued by suicidal thoughts. Living in a small town, she has split from her husband (who has moved on but determined to remain friends) and seems a bit lost.
Meanwhile a killer has re-emerged. It bears all the hallmarks of an old crime but the police, for some unknown reason, do not seem to want to make a connection between the two.
However when a female police office is also killed with Naomi as the sole witness the race to solve the case heats up.
Marcus is an outsider in the force and positive that there is a link between the old and new cases. He's slowly falling for Naomi but why has the killer spared her?
The town feels small and claustrophobic, with everyone linked to each other. The question is who can/should you trust? In the tradition of a good psychological thriller there's a good twist at the end that chills the heart.
