WOW what a ride!!
From the start this is a tale that keeps you guessing, pulling you in with a seemingly effortlessly gripping opening, that only becomes more and more compelling as you read. I couldn’t put this down!! Reading 90% in one day!
Each chapter has a new situations to make you wonder what’s coming, a Characters actions that make you reconsider hour perspective on the tale.
I loved the varying personalities, And felt sorry for Marcus and Naomi to varying degrees throughout the book. I loved the surprises that appeared throughout the plot, not expecting any.
The ending was far from what I expected, and exactly what I expected at the same time. A strange thing to say, perhaps. But, for anyone who reads it you will understand once you’ve finished why I will say... I guessed who it was, but not who did it 😂 a perfectly twisty end to a very twisty tale!
I sincerely hope that Jack Jordans next book will continue with these Characters, with so many unresolved questions I am desperate to see where the Characters go next, what will become of them, and how?
I have thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book, and at several points actually said “WHAT?!” One moment in particular had a dislike of somebody becoming a burning hatred. Even after finishing what was a beautifully shocking story, I still can not stand the Character, even as I admire the talent behind the creation of the person.
These Characters are so completely different to one another, and the storyline so unique, that I am truly in awe! I am both excited and nervous to see what Jack Jordan has planned down the line, because this is a tale to keep you awake, both whilst reading and after you close the book!
Absolutely brilliant, and Definitely one I will be recommending far and wide!
