I was hooked from the front cover title and sentence. Psychological crime stories aren't typically what I read, however, I am intrigued by this unique story of the only witness being blind.

The initial descriptive language truly came to life in my imagination. It felt chilling and I was on edge for the most part.
The authors writing flows really well.

The relationship and story between the killer and the mother I am most intrigued to discover, in particular, where does she stand with what her son is doing? He's done this before, what are his reasons? Most importantly: whats going to happen to Naomi?

Naomi is a very vulnerable character anyway and so putting her in this situation, making her more vulnerable, leaves the reader feeling both protective and scared for her.

I have never read a story quite like this before and I am excited to read more.
