I have been so excited to read this book since i came across it! The cover is beautiful and haunting to set the mood for the chaos that follows.

The blurb was intense and refreshing, i can't say i have ever came across a book where the main character is blind and that really made me happy, not that she was blind but the fact that it isn't often you come across books (or at least in my experience) where the main character has a disability.

The story itself gave me emotional whiplash, i bonded with Naomi immediately, i got the feeling that Naomis life wasn't just about being disabled, i got the impression that she felt trapped and too scared to really experience life outside her four walls and small town which i feel a lot of readers can relate to in their own ways.

I loved how the story was told, Jack Jordan really knows how to immerse his readers into feeling like they are right there with the characters experiencing everything they do with great detail which was scary at times as when i finished the book, it was night time and i felt quite jumpy in my own home which is always the sign of a fantastic book if it can leave you feeling on edge.

This isn't a criticism as i enjoy finding errors in books, on page 187 i believe i found two spelling errors. "You were so frightened in broke my heart." And "Bt luckily you learnt quickly,"

I would highly recommend this book although if you are easily triggered by extreme violence and sexual assault i would advise against it.
