This is very definitely a “genre defying” read from the outset. I started reading the ‘first look’ because I was attracted to the cover and have a penchant for sci-fi, I also happen to be a psychologist and so the premise of a species of mind-altering humanoids and a “Zone of Forgetfulness” is totally up my proverbial street. I have been hooked by the descriptive language and I cannot wait to read the rest of this novel.
