I've never been a huge fan of sci-fi novels and although my first impression is that this is probably a well-written story I think that if I carried on reading it I'd be forever questioning the storyline rather than feeling able to immerse myself in the characters and plot. No doubt I could be missing out on a "gem", but I think I'll give this one a miss and give true enthusiasts a better chance of receiving a copy!
