I love novels set in different worlds or different times. From the first premise this looks fascinating and capable of delivering on the weird beauty shown on the cover. I read Chris Beckett's 'America City' and recommended it to many other readers for its intelligent world-building and startling prescience. I hope to enjoy 'Beneath the World, a Sea' at least as much.
