Trippy fascinating stuff
The cover of Beneath the World, A Sea feels like a trippy comic book scene, before I started reading I though it was oddly childish. Having read the first few chapters I know that it is perfect. This strange psychological novel submerges the reader in a rainforest of pink and purple leaves, and a cast of weird uncanny characters, and leaves you unsettled at every turn. It is utterly unreal but the writing is in such a matter-of-fact tone that you can't help but find it believable.
I can't wait to read more.
